About Us

Goddards was founded in 1895 and commenced trading in High Street, King’s Lynn.

The company continued to trade from the High Street site until 1987 when they relocated to the former Bird in Hand Public House in Norfolk Street, later acquiring the job centre next door and expanding into it.

In 2001 the business transferred to the newly renovated site of former builders’ merchants, Crossleys, in Wellesley Street.

The business was acquired by WD Coe Limited in August 2004 and continues to trade from Wellesley Street in King’s Lynn under the name of Goddards.

Having won many prestigious awards, Goddards are recognised as one of the country's finest independent menswear and womenswear businesses.

The aim is to provide customers with a total shopping experience. This has been achieved through gaining a reputation for providing quality, value and service in comfortable, convenient surroundings.

Each season Goddards store offers you exciting new collections from leading brands, spanning traditional to more directional, leisure to formal - in fact clothes for all occasions.
